The annual Life of the Soldier event had a different format from previous years. Instead of the battle reenactments and other demonstrations, a static display format was used. Spectators got a chance to look over displays and vehicles closeup and personal. They also had an opportunity to talk to museum volunteers and other exhibitors dressed in authentic uniforms and learn first-hand about their equipment and vehicles. The spectators also got to see a military timeline showing reenactors in U.S. uniforms throughtout history from the Revolutionary War through Operation Desert Storm. |
