With the heavy dolly now pushed forward and centered under Cobra King,
the workshop five-ton crane is used to remove the tracks.
|

Garry Redmon, Don and Len Dyer used coordinated effort to lift and pull
the left track free.
|
|

The left track
is free and will pulled out from under the bogie wheels later.
|

Garry, Don
and Len try the same technique on the right side, but the track defies
the hoist and proves to be more difficult.
|
|

Don drives
a forklift around to the back of Cobra King. It will be used to pull the
track off.
|

Unfortunately,
even the forklift is unable to pull the track, but does pull Cobra King
on the dolly sideways.
|

Since the work
day is drawing to a close, the fork lift is used to pull the left freed
track out from under the road wheels. |

Meanwhile, Len,
using a tanker bar and muscle is able to work much of the right track over
the drive sprocket. The removal of this track will have to wait until another
day. |
