With the heavy dolly now pushed forward and centered under Cobra King, the workshop five-ton crane is used to remove the tracks.

Garry Redmon, Don and Len Dyer used coordinated effort to lift and pull the left track free.

The left track is free and will pulled out from under the bogie wheels later.

Garry, Don and Len try the same technique on the right side, but the track defies the hoist and proves to be more difficult.

Don drives a forklift around to the back of Cobra King. It will be used to pull the track off.

Unfortunately, even the forklift is unable to pull the track, but does pull Cobra King on the dolly sideways.

Since the work day is drawing to a close, the fork lift is used to pull the left freed track out from under the road wheels.

Meanwhile, Len, using a tanker bar and muscle is able to work much of the right track over the drive sprocket. The removal of this track will have to wait until another day.
