Jeff Berry used an acetylene rig to heat the remaining end connector on
the right side. With sledge hammer, tanker bars and muscles, the end connector
was freed.
The right track now broken and ready for removal.
Don places
20 ton bottle jacks under Cobra King so that the rear end can be raised
enough to roll a heavy dolly underneath.
Bottle jacks
are placed under the right and left rear bogies.
After enough
height was acheived, the dolly was pushed in as far as possible.
More jacks
are placed in the front and Charles and Len begin jacking up the front
end.
