As an outcome to the Base Re-alignment and Closure (BRAC) decision, the Armor School has moved from Fort Knox to Fort Benning, Georgia. Most of the vehicles in the Patton Museum collection are now part of the new National Armor and Cavalry Museum. Many have been moved into storage at Fort Benning until a new structure is built.

The project vehicles in this section were started when the vehicles were part of the Patton Museum collection. The 251D/9 and Panzer IV have been moved to Fort Benning. The RSO and Cobra King are still being worked on and will be as complete as possible before shipment.
